My name is Tayri Gildelamadrid. My parents passed away when I was young. As a teenager, I saw my older siblings work two jobs while going to school so that they could make sure we were all taken care of, and to make sure that I could still go to college, despite my parents not being there. Unfortunately, my parents didn’t have life insurance so we were not financially protected when they passed. I, myself, had to work two full time jobs to financially survive through college, while also taking courses full time.
While I was receiving my first undergrad degree in Communication, I worked with a therapeutic agency that helped families cope with the loss of a loved one. Throughout my career, I was able to help so many families emotionally deal with the loss. However, after several years, I found that the families I helped fell into one of two groups. Families that did not have to worry about any financial burden because their loved ones were covered with life insurance prior to their passing, or those families that had to put aside their emotional pain in order to ensure that the financial burden was taken care of, out of their pocket. Some of these families had to look into community assistance and donations to cover the cost of burial coverage. While helping these families, I grew a passion for providing financial security client’s loved ones after their passing.
After my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, I went on to receive a second Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then a Master’s degree in Child Psychology. I never lost the passion to help families and have made it a personal mission of mine to help protect the financial security of as many client’s and their families.
After working several years with the same company, I decided to open my own life insurance brokerage, where I am contracted with over 30 companies, so that I can ensure the best coverage/price options for my clients. I would love to sit with you and determine what your best options are.
